Decks with good chances of winning will often end up having the lion's share of the meta. It shows us just how powerful Inteleon can be. Popular Magic The Gathering Historic Brawl decks. If you really want to hedge here, maybe mind rot in the 15 could be something to consider.Tier List and Rankings. Atarka might be an issue, as it's more often then not a 2 for 1 on resolution. Chandra isn't the best against 4/5s and frog, but I can see bringing in To the Slaughter as ruinous path 4 and 5. I think 3 or more duress and transgress would be good here, aswell and infinite obliteration on world breaker (makes their koz returns worse). This deck against ramp: Advocate beat down or bust game 1. Way too many 2/3s and big bodies for confort. Against midrange decks, though, it has been pretty terrible. I feel like I could see cutting pulse for this if the meta is largely at two extremes (ramp and fast aggro). If you play it when they're tapped out early game, they can't make use of it. On K Command: I feel like the madness enabling aspect is a non issue. The deck is so powerful however (even the mana dork is a fine top deck) that the scry rarely bottoms two non-land spells. The Darkdweller synergy is my main justification. Read the Bones vs Painful Truths: There is no right answer here. I'm never really happy to draw her, and I'm sure she's more at home in an aggressive token build or something. Giving Demon vigilance is sweet, but we usually want her to flip for the bolt ability. On Arlin Kord: She isn't the best when behind. ![]() My build has like 9 other things to do on turn two, excluding impulse. Grasp could indeed be cut for something else but keep in mind: A) Grasps kills Avacyn, Seers in response to their trigger. ![]() The synergy between Mindwrack and Dwellers is evocative as the Jund version of thought scour and snapcaster (obviously standard power level, though). To answer questions in a clear and concise manner now that I'm not posting at 4 am (this new format is fun): Emphasis on red and Darkdwellers: While I agree my mana base is probably far from optimal, I believe the emphasis on turn 5/4 (cap) red is well worth it with the sheer power of dwellers. Arlin: She was not impressive it this list. Woodland wanderer: might be good? Haven't tried it. Could see playing over a couple demons in a more aggressive format. Cards that I considered: Khalitas: with murderous cut gone it just wasn't cutting it against other midrange lists. 3 Chandra Lands: 2 of each handland, 4 smoldering marsh, 3 cinder glade, 3 Quagmire, 2 Llanowar, 4 evolving wilds, 1 Mountain, 2 forest, 2 swamp. 2 Oath Of Nissa- Fixing, filtering, turns on delirium. Non creatures: 3 Impulse, 3 Ruinous Path, 2 Read the Bones, 2 Grasp of darkness, 2 Roast, 1 Pulse of murasa. He's huge and stonewalls smasher and gideon, and can even attack into worldbreaker. Cantripping off of mindwack or evolving wilds is great, as well as chandra's 0 ability. He may seem like a nonbo with advocate and nissa but the ability to drop am extra land a turn mitigates this very well. Great in multiples and amazing with: 3 Goblin Darkdwellers 2 Gitgud Frog- HEAR ME OUT this guy is actually nuts. He's bigger than every other midrange creature except smasher, and the trample is relevant against thopters. 3 Sylvan Advocate 1 Nissa Vastwood Seer 4 Mindwrack Demon- The life clause only happens 25% of games in my experience. After testing a few hours on Cockatrice against my buddy and a gauntlet (mono red eldrazi, have esper, ranp, gw midrange) this is the list I'm settled on: Creatures: 4 Deathcap Hermit- This deck is very mana hungry, and the ability for this guy to be relevant and a board clogged is great.
